The Canada 20 dollar banknote was issued by the Bank of Canada as part of the 2011 Canadian Journey Issues. The obverse of the note displays Queen Elizabeth II wearing a dress with pearl necklace, the countrys arms, the Center Block of Parliament in Ottawa, and the flag of Canada. Depicted on the reverse are artworks of Bill Reid such as The Raven and the First Men, The Grizzly Bear, The Spirit of Haida Gwaii, and Mythic Messengers. It also displays an excerpt from the novel of Gabrielle Roy, The Hidden Mountain. The 152 x 70 mm paper bill bears a holographic stripe and a watermark that reveals Queen Elizabeth II and an electrotype 20. Additionally, the banknote comes with a gold-to-green windowed security thread with a demetalized 20 CAN. This 20 Canadian dollar banknote is in uncirculated condition.
