    The Rumpler C.V. was a WW-I German single-engine, two-seat reconnaissance aircraft. The C.V. is a C.IV with an internal bomb bay in the observer’s compartment. Remained in front-line service until the 
    end of WW-I on the Western Front
    . The C.V. had an exceptional ceiling which allowed 
    pilots to undertake reconnaissance secure in the knowledge that few 
    allied aircraft could reach it.
