key with logo.

1 Keyless entry remote with remote start plus 1 transponder chip key for GMC Vehicles.  This key has the “46” chip and is compatible with GM 15857840, and Strattec 692632 keys. The remote is complete with all electronics and battery installed ready to be programmed!
PROGRAMMING This is a blank key that must be cut to match your current key. Many hardware stores or locksmiths can do this for you. In addition, your car must be programmed to recognize the transponder. You can do this yourself provided you already have one working master key. Easy, do-it-yourself programming procedures are included with purchase. If you do not have one working, factory transponder key, you will have to have a dealer or locksmith do the programming. Any programming fees are not included in the purchase price.   Programming instructions are included for the remote for vehicles 2007-2010.  Vehicles year model 2011 and up require programming by a dealer or locksmith with programming equipment.
Vehicles manufactured for sale in Canada do not have an on-board programming procedure for the transponder key due to government requlations.  If your VIN number starts with a “2” it is a Canadian vehicle and the do-it-yourself programming will not work. Programming must be done by a GM dealer or qualified locksmith with proper programming equipment.
This remote has a remote start button.  Your vehicle must be equipped with this option for this feature to work
